The discussions are tailored to the individual performance venue.

As is the case in Basle potential performance venues are actively involved in the planning of the event since the particularities of each of the various performance locations should be considered when choosing the respective guests and discussion presenter.
The topics for discussion will be chosen with reference to the context of the project and will be based on statements by those effected or by experts in the field. Possible issues include :

• What possibilities does the human body in mid-life no longer have at its disposal ? What possibilities exist ? Is it conceivable that there may yet be possibilities to be discovered ?

• "Artistes au troisième âge"- whither with inspiration when one's body fails one ? How is body language influenced by one's physical condition ? What can be incorporated, what retained by force ?

• Life experience at/after 40

• Being alone : what traces does it leave ? How does loneliness feel ? How indeed does it feel to be centred ? Longing or compensation ?

• When does one feel at home ? Where to find that feeling of family ? How does one tend one's relationships ?

• Which contacts are perceived dealt with in what manner ? How does the body react to too much or too little contact ?

• Historical, social and also inter-cultural experience regarding these issues
