La vingt-cinqième heure at the Salle Benoit XII
Upon the invitation of the Festival d’Avignon 2004, Philippe Olza presents a "carte blanche" in the frame of the "carte blanche" serie of "La Vingt-cinquième heure" a first draft of creation process.
The project aims to review with humour, a state of being, of crisis highlighted by means of a certain lightheartedness. Spoken, danced, performed and stumbled dialogue with himself and the audience.
The dance language employed draws on several, very different elements from "romantic ballet", the language of the jester, dada, gymnastic dance, as well as the tragic-comedy associated with Buster Keaton.
